December 9:
Chris and D appeared today at 1 am during a horrible snow storm just knocking on my door. As per usual I was swept off
to wal mart, D is kind of living out of his car temporarily, which Chris has never yet missed an opportunity to make fun of,
and so there was a lot of stuff in the back. Sometimes Chris can seem kind of inconsiderate, like when he thought it'd be
cool to drop by his parents house at 2 am, or at least we hoped it was his parents house.
But in reality he's really a cool guy, and he was even nice enough to lay across god knows what in the back seat crushed
against the celiling of the car and let me have the front seat. Anyhow we bought all sorts of crap at wal mart and talked
of Blake, since there's only a week til his return. We ended up staying up all night just talking and playing video games
and making fun of Revenge of the Sith.
I got to work horribly late but it wasnt any big deal and I made due. It seems my hours are going to be cut now due to
the slow season which suits me just fine. (Editors note: My hours were going to be cut, haha thats real funny!)
December 14
Today, and for the second time, I put Blake's room in order and got it mostly prepared for the party. There still need
to be two beds made for Chris and his companion, whether that will be D or Kim I know not, but it'd be nice to have a girl
there so it dosnt seem so gay.
I finally got the DVD player to work by jamming the Playstations power cord into it. The power cord dosnt have a clasp
on it but its the right shape and voltage so it works with a little shoving. I also had to put up all the little cut outs
on Blake's walls and try to get them in proper order. Blake cut out video game and anime stuff from magazines and taped them
on his walls, and when they took them down to paint noone bothered to remember where they went, and all I could do was just
try.
I also emptied out a space in the basement. I intend to pile up enough wood to keep the fire down there going constantly
so that Blake and me wont be bothered to toss in more. I intend on a week or two of uninterupted fun and nothing less.
December 13
Today I got up early and did a good two hours work throwing in a massive pile of wood. We have a woodstove here that does
absolutely nothing to heat most of the house but must be kept going as a matter of form, you see. So there's like a metric
ton of wood down there and now no one will have reason to bother me about tossing it in.

The most action packed pile of wood ever! It might not look like much but it took me about two hours to toss all that
in considering each piece is the size of my arm.
While I was about this Lorie asked me if I needed more stuff for my bonfire, directing me to burn some books. This of course
was Charlie's idea, and I politely turned it down though I must admit my contenance was somewhat disturbed. Though once I
finished my labors I was disturbed even more when Lorie began painting the dining room whilst singing a song I shall inscribe
here:
"Doo dooo dow de dow
doo dooo dow de dow
aweemuwac"
And that was pretty much it. Naturally I am once more in my room with the door locked but I still use this time productively.
I'm talking to Chris to make some last minute plans and checking the weather. I had hoped there'd be snow falling when Blake
came back but its only a ten percent chance. However there also wont be any rain or wind on the sixteenth, Friday, so that's
a good thing. Later I moved all the goodies for OES into Blake's closet and unpacked them so they'll be ready.

The supplies all laid out in Blake's closet. This is just some of the stuff we had and it mainly focuses on the drinks
which are, from left to right, Sambuca (licorice liqueur) strawberry champagne, creme de cacao (chocolate liqueur) blue curacao
(orange liqueur) peace champagne, grenadine. Not pictured: two bottles of wine and Irish Cream.

Charlie and I were to travel to the lawless wastelands of West Virginia today, where men are not yet endowed with female
sex organs and thus still enjoy things that are likely to kill them as soon as they are lit, but I overslept.
December 15
The last full day before ROTB is nearly passed. It's 11:11 pm. I just primed all the fireworks, making sure they were dry
and the fuses were exposed and such. I made a last trip to get supplies, namely skittles and a few other things. Blake's arrival
was moved back by an hour, but he WILL be here tomorrow. Damn I can scarcely believe the day will be here in just a few minutes.

I perform a final check on my ordinance and order it to assume formation for the battle ahead.
Chris and I, if he shows up, might go to try to buy rockets before Blake appears, but other than that we have everything
necessary. I took a few pictures today and even got some food for fatcat so she wont feel left out. Entertainment will consist
of 2-5 dvds and whatever we can cook up by way of D&D. So it should be pretty sweet. Last time Blake came home a hurricane
tried to kill us and knocked out our power (I think it was trying to punish us for defying it -- we rode through the worst
of the storm on the back of a pick up truck), but this'll be different!
